What is a Resident Assistant?

Resident assistants, commonly known as RAs, have a major impact on Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵs' experiences and quality of life on campus through their interactions in the residence halls.

RAs are responsible for getting to know the people in their communities, supporting residents, promoting a safe and comfortable living environment for all Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵs, planning activities to help Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵs grow and connect, directing them to resources that will enhance their success, and otherwise enhancing the on-campus experience. The Office of Residential Life and the Office of Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ Housing team are dedicated to building lasting communities of learning.
