Meal Plans
The Office of Campus Food Services oversees the creation, sales and oversight of all meal plans. Meal plans are available to on and off-campus Ƶs, faculty and staff.
Certain meal plans are restricted based upon residency status.
Purchase or Sign Up for a Meal Plan
To sign-up and/or purchase a meal plan as a current on campus resident, please , click on the “Access StarRez Housing Portal” link under the “Housing Portal” section, click on the “Applications” in the menu at the top of the page and follow the prompts.
To sign up and purchase a commuter or faculty and staff meal plan, please , click on the “Access StarRez Housing Portal” link under the “Housing Portal” section, click on the “Commuter Meal Plans” in the menu at the top of the page and follow the prompts.
Note: Unused Declining Balance on ALL meal plans roll over each semester. Unused meal swipes for Cajun Commuter & Cajun Community will roll over each semester. All meal plans are available to all Ƶs & faculty/staff with noted minimum meal plan purchases for resident Ƶs. If you are graduating or resigning from the Ƶ, you have 90 days to request a refund of your remaining declining balance dollars.

Summer residence hall and Legacy Park Apartment residents are required to purchase one of the following summer meal plans.

All Ƶs living in the traditional residence halls are required to purchase a Cajun Freedom Plan or a Cajun Select Plan.
Ƶs living in Legacy Park Apartments that have completed thirty (30) semester hours or less are required to purchase a Cajun Freedom or Cajun Select Plan. Ƶs that have completed thirty-one (31) or more semester hours are required to purchase a Cajun Freedom, Cajun Select or Cajun Classic Plan.
Meal plans are optional for residents in The Heritage Apartments.
Graduate Ƶs living on campus in traditional residence halls and Legacy Park Apartments are required to purchase any one of the meal plans listed above with a minimum purchase of the Cajun Classic Plan.

Commuter Ƶs can choose any of the above-listed plans in addition to the Cajun Community and are not charged a service fee:

Payroll Deduction for Faculty and Staff
The university now offers two ways for Faculty/Staff to purchase commuter meal plans through the housing portal. Cajun Commuter, Cajun Community, and Declining Balance meal plans are available for purchase using payroll deductions or traditional forms of payment.
