Office of Orientation

The Office of Orientation is committed to ensuring that your transition to UL Lafayette is as smooth as possible. 

This is an exciting time in your educational journey and we're here to support you along the way. Whether you're a first-time freshman, transfer, or adult Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ, or a parent or guardian wanting to know more about your Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ's experience, we have the right orientation program for you. 

Orientation is required for all new Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵs, as it is designed to set you up for success on our campus.

Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ Orientation

At Orientation, Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵs learn where to go, who to talk to, and what's most important to their success on campus. All new Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵs are required to register for and attend an Orientation session.

Parent & Family Orientation

Parents and guardians are important partners in Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ success. Our optional Parent & Family Orientation program provides a detailed overview of Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵ services and academics.

SOUL Camp is a unique experience designed to provide new Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵs with skills and networks that will develop their leadership abilities and Ragin' Cajun spirit.
