Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵs who are unable to return to class on Thursday should contact their instructor(s) or the Dean of Ìð¹ÏÊÓƵs Office at deanofÌð¹ÏÊÓƵs@louisiana.edu or (337) 482-6276. Faculty and staff members who are unable to return to work on Thursday should contact their immediate supervisor.

During winter weather conditions, DOTD suggests for motorists to follow these five safety tips:
- Drive slowly, carefully, and avoid driving while distracted
- Allow for extra driving time
- Reduce speeds when visibility is low
- Make sure there is plenty of room between vehicles
- Look out for black ice---a thin, transparent layer of ice accumulation that can be visually hard to detect on bridges, overpasses, off-ramps and in shady spots
