UL Lafayette Officials Continue Monitoring Gustav

Today, Thursday, August 28, 2008, the Ìð¹ÏÊÓÆµ of Ìð¹ÏÊÓÆµ at Lafayette Administration continues to closely monitor the projected path of Hurricane Gustav as it approaches the Gulf of Mexico. Should Gustav take a path for the Ìð¹ÏÊÓÆµ coast over the next few days, information on steps being taken by the Ìð¹ÏÊÓÆµ will be available through this 24 hour hotline, through ULink, Moodle, and Ìð¹ÏÊÓÆµâ€™s website at www. louisiana.edu

Ìð¹ÏÊÓÆµs are also encouraged to registered for First Call – the university's emergency response system. It is free of charge. Each Ìð¹ÏÊÓÆµ has the opportunity to provide email addresses and phone numbers which will receive alerts as they are issued. For instance, a Ìð¹ÏÊÓÆµ may choose to include their parents’ home phone number as an additional contact number.
