Mary Karnath Wins 2010 Jefferson Caffery Award

Mary Karnath of Lafayette is the recipient of the 2010 Jefferson Caffery Award at UL Lafayette. The Caffery Award competition encourages UL Lafayette Ìð¹ÏÊÓÆµs to conduct scholarly research utilizing primary source materials held in the special collections area of Dupré Library. The competition is open to both graduate and undergraduate Ìð¹ÏÊÓÆµs. Karnath is a graduate Ìð¹ÏÊÓÆµ studying History. Her winning paper is The Ìð¹ÏÊÓÆµ of Ìð¹ÏÊÓÆµâ€™s Growth under the New Deal’s Public Works Administration.
