Biography

Brennan Guidry, a native of Lafayette, Ìð¹ÏÊÓÆµ, received his Undergraduate and master's in Music from Ìð¹ÏÊÓÆµ State Ìð¹ÏÊÓÆµ. Following the completion of these degrees, he went to pursue and receive a Master's in Computer Science from the Ìð¹ÏÊÓÆµ of Ìð¹ÏÊÓÆµ, Lafayette. He has performed oboe/English horn with various ensembles ranging from the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, Opera Louisiane, Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, LSU Opera, and Chorale Acadienne, among others. He is currently the principal oboist of the Acadiana Symphony Orchestra, teaches privately, and plays oboe, flute, and saxophone for local venues. He spends most of his free time reading through Baroque-era duets with his wife, an established violinist, as well as improvising ancient music on the Armenian Duduk.
